Religions for Peace USA pledge our efforts to bring peace wherever we can, especially for those who need it most.

Our thoughts and prayers are turned to Belgium and all those grieving, crying and seeking relief from terror in Brussels today. Our Executive Director, Rev Robert Montgomery, shares his thoughts:

"True religion inspires genuine wisdom, self-restraint, deep faith or religious reflection, the work toward peace and the well-being of all as one’s neighbors and indeed as members of one human family.  We at Religions for Peace USA pledge our efforts to bring peace wherever we can, especially for those who need it most.

Where there is hurt, let us work for healing.  Where there is injustice, let us stand together and seek courageous wisdom to resolve it.  Where there is suffering, let us spend our lives and our resources to end it.   Let us rise up to what our spiritual truths tell us, not drag them and our fellow human beings into the despair of hatred and death."
