With G-d’s Name, The Merciful Benefactor, The Merciful Redeemer
The Mosque Cares (Ministry of W. Deen Mohammed) is a Non-Profit Organization (501c3) founded by Imam W. Deen Mohammed.
The Mosque Cares is committed to helping establish a balanced community life. The Mosque Cares is dedicated to providing charitable assistance to organizations and individuals in honor of Imam W. Deen Mohammed and his legacy. We strive to assist Masjids, Schools, Islamic Centers, etc. as well as individual believers including pioneers, students, families in need, etc.
Since Imam Mohammed's passing we have continued his initiatives. With the help of the broader community, and its leadership we strive to expand these initiatives such as our annual events that have always been the responsibility of Imam Mohammed's office.
Leaders in the community - we ask that you be our partners so that our National programs truly reflect this great legacy we have. This is a desire that is extremely important to me, that we include all those who sincerely desire to assist us in achieving the success of these community events.
I have spent all of my adult life working for my father's ministry with various administrative duties. For the past 15 years my work has been on a volunteer basis and I plan to continue to serve in this capacity. I believe this is the best way to reach our charitable goals. I am grateful to Allah, the most high to be blessed with this responsibility.
As you all may know, the Mosque Cares contributions come from the poor; Imams and Individuals. Our resources, though small, have managed to do great things. Our charity is used as a means to assist members of our community who are in need, with Allah's help.
For those seeking further information on The Mosque Cares including events, activities, our Mission Statement, etc. please visit our website www.wdmministry.com. We also have a posting in the Table of Events in the Muslim Journal. I have posted several articles in the Muslim Journal newspaper that you can reference.
As you know we are all family, we should not feel that any issue is too small or insignificant. If it is something important to you, it is also of great importance to me. Feel free to send communications via mail or email and if you feel it's necessary I can also meet in-person at your convenience.
